Many of you have poles at home and are practicing which is great! I just want to remind you to be safe and train effectively!
Always warm up to prevent injury and remember that pole takes time to gain strength to move onto bigger and more impressive moves. That’s why we also have classes, to ensure proper technique and spotting. Therefore, don’t try anything you aren’t comfortable with… it’s not worth a lifetime of injuries just for one attempt at a certain move! With this being said, it’s always best to have a clean pole and train while someone is around especially if you are flipping upside down! Also, safety crash mats are important to have underneath you. Crash mats can be costly for now but not later down the road!
