Pole Fitness and other forms of Aerial Fitness is the ultimate full-body workout that enhances flexibility, tones muscle, improves coordination, and increases strength all while having fun!  Our certified instructors teach you everything you need to know about bodyweight training.

Pole Fitness Levels

Congrats! By now you have all the beginner spins and pole climb mastered. During the Intermediate Program you are moving up to learning intermediate spins and doing more intense muscular training. With your increased strength and leg holds you will see the world on a whole other level, upside-down! Yes, you are now working towards inverts and learning a another choreographed routine!!

**YOU MUST HAVE A SOLID INVERT TO MOVE TO ADVANCED**

We warned you that you would become addicted! In the Advanced Level you learn those gorgeous moves that you once thought you could never do!  You will work on advanced spins and more inverted moves that will become the foundation to more difficult moves down the road. Learn high level conditioning that will push you to your limits. At this point you will need shorts and a shirt that shows the mid-drift for grip purposes.

**YOU MUST HAVE A SOLID GEMINI AND SCORPIO TO MOVE FORWARD**

So you have made it this far! By now you are doing amazing things and we will continue to enhance and perfect those moves by working on pole combos and expanding into harder and even more advanced gravity-defying moves that require some serious strength… thank goodness your hard work has paid off!

Welcome to a feeling of ultimate greatness!  In this level we will be working on moves that will have you flipping around the pole and creating jaw dropping shapes that you have been waiting for.  Nobody said it would be easy, but we promise you it will be worth it!

You have moved through all the levels at Rise Above Studios.  You have done things that were unthinkable but it doesn’t end here! In fact, the sky is the limit for you now! We still have work to do in this forever challenging pole journey such as revisit nemesis moves and create exciting combinations.  This level will focus on the new current trending moves in pole fitness.

Aerial Hoop Levels

Why exercise on the ground when you can build strength in this beautiful suspended apparatus?  This art form, also know as Lyra hoop is thrilling and fun!  You will gain core strength, back and bicep muscles while working on bottom bar moves and combinations.  We begin to learn mounts and dismounts to get in and out of the hoop.  Wear leggings to slide and transition into moves.

Now that you have the fundamentals, it’s time to challenge ourselves a little more!  Rolls are introduced along with a variety of moves that begin to incorporate flexibility.  We also drill mounts and other condition exercises so that we can feel comfortable inverting to top bar safely.

Learn more advanced splits and challenging transitions. Build more strength and flexibility.

Congrats on being amazing!  Apparently, you have fallen in love with hoop and are ready to continue with beautiful transitions that include bottom, top and side bar.  Flow through and melt together gorgeous combos!

Aerial Sling Levels

Why exercise on the ground when you can build strength in this beautiful silk apparatus?  This art form, also know as Aerial Sling can be challenging but so rewarding!  You will gain strength and flexibility as you learn to use the fabric.  The hammock is similar in nature to traditional 2 tail silks but easier to advance through movements as you have the support of the band.  Leggings and T-shirt are recommended.

Extended Training

Be Fit, Have Fun, & Feel Fabulous! This aerobic and resistance training class is suitable for all levels. Learn fitness choreography and strength conditioning exercises to tone up, lose weight and create long lean muscles while having fun at it. Grab a pair of running shoes, sports bra, and sweat towel to join the fun to get fit!

Flexibility Training is good for everyone – it keeps you feeling young!  It reduces the risk of injury during exercise and daily activities because muscles are more pliable. It improves the performance of everyday activities as well as performance in dancing or other sports.  This class will help your moves look absolutely beautiful by taking them to a whole new level, which in most advanced moves flexibility is required!

Many different types of flexibility training is used and incorporated.  We use mats, straps and blocks.  Foam rollers, yoga wheels, our silk hammocks, poles and partners.

Your CORE is one of the most important muscle groups you will ever work on!! WHY? because it must engage FIRST before working on any other muscle groups! It’s essential in every day activities and to reduce back pain to name a few.

Lift, Tone & Build a Booty in this circuit that focuses on nothing but your lower half!

Modified for ALL levels. New to pole through to Advanced students who need extra conditioning! The pole is an amazing bodyweight training piece of equipment!

Learn to get comfortable with spin mode. Melt and transition combos seamlessly.

Guided movement to encourage your body to flow and dance.

Take your life upside down and get the body of your dreams! You know we love bodyweight training.  Learn to correctly engage muscles and control your body movements!  The pole will help guide your stance plus there are a tonne of gorgeous pole handstands to attempt.

Let’s drill all the fundamentals of Pole and make them concrete! All your new moves develop off of the foundations so it’s best to still practice and perfect them!

Using the silk hammocks similar to a TRX, you’re certain to get a crazy good workout.  Build and tone muscle by doing isometric and concentrated movements.  We are also able to lengthen the muscle with this apparatus.

Similar to our Bend n’ Flex program however more concentrated, held for longer periods of time and guaranteed your own hammock.  The silk apparatus allows for deep stretches to fast forward your flexibility and decompress your spine with inversions.

Kids & Teen Classes

We recently have changed our programs from ages back to levels. Every child is in a different journey whether they have a gymnastics background, dance and acro or no background at all! Some learn faster than others and we want to ensure that safety precautions are met. It’s recommended that your child starts off in the beginner/intermediate level to get familiar with the apparatus’s and to learn proper movement.

NEW REGISTRATION WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR THE END OF APRIL 2022.
